I never wanted to have children. My life has been full without them. I have a wonderful mate, a career that I love, travel and fulfilling life experiences. I am lucky enough to have nieces and nephews that I am very close to and involved with; it must feel something like having grandchildren. I love being with them, but I don’t have to raise them. My “child” is my dog. Besides my husband, of all the things that I’ve had and done, my one constant love is my dog. I can’t imagine my life without her. She’s there for me and I am there for her.
